Help in Selling RV in USA to Canadian's

I am sure this question has been asked and answered - Any help would be appreciated: I am not sure how I go about selling my RV to some friends in Canada. What is involved paperwork wise to both have money transferred (to me in US Dollars, what is the current exchange rate, any advice??), and to physically get the trailer across to border to Canada. Any websites would also be appreciated on "How to...." Thank you for any and all help, and your patience.

RE: Friction Sway help

Use some of the spongy foam liner stuff that you line your cupboards with - put that on, grab it with a pipe wrench. OR get a real Equalizer Ball for about $12, 12,000# variety - it is notched.

RE: Inverter, towing, & Crock Pot!

ok, it was a long shot. The crock pot is 100 watts. I would have put it in the sink with towels around it, and believe me, it would not move. However, it looks as if it will deplete batteries which is what I don't want and why I asked. y'all are wonderful as usual. Ellie Ellie: I have done a lot of things--but cooking (i.e. in a crock pot) while traveling down the road is NOT one I would really wish to try. You would need to bungy cord that thing into the sink or wherever you decide to put it, so as to have it still standing by the time you got there. (Just my $.02/worth!!!) Let us know if you actually ever try this!!

RE: Need advice on a Diesel problem

That water pump IS in an ackward spot - so it is time-consuming. Just so you know - the CPS they replaced actually needs replacing occasionally, and one never knows exactly when. But, your truck will sputter, and stop. I always carried an extra one, as they are easy to replace. And, if you get caught somewhere, most any good wrench guy can change it on the spot. The shops charge an arm and a leg, and it is not necessary for the CPS. (Had a 96 PSD. Loved it!!)

RE: Need a new hitch

Check some of your local RV shops/dealers. They have access to the Equalizer at pretty decent prices....and sometimes just for the sale, they will set it up for you with your rig. You can find them used. Just make sure you know if they are the "real" Equal-i-zer, or the chain-link type. Good luck.

RE: Hope this is true!

I am laughing. I still (vaguely) can remember the day I passed my favorite station, and it said "$2.00/diesel". I said, "I am NOT paying $2/gal for diesel" --- and I never did again!!!!! Oh, for the good old days!!! Whoever on earth thought we would even WELCOME $2/gal !!!!

RE: equal-i-zer questions

My $.02/cents. This is one time that over-kill is NOT in your best interest. One needs the "flexing" abilities in the equalizer....or as they have said, you will get a really harsh ride, for TV and TT.

RE: happy campers odor free tanktreatment

Anyone that uses this that could help me....I realize that I "should" be able to figure this out myself...HAVING SAID THAT, could someone who uses this product give me an idea on size using the pint, quart, gallon method - How large/small are the containers - 40, 64, 130oz. I would "assume" it translates straight across ??? Just want to know what space I would need to fit the container(s) into. Thanks. (Mathmatically challenged today!!)
